His broadcast career started in 1935 working at Maryland's WFMD, Philadelphia's WFIL, New York's WOR and WCBS,
Stamford's WSTC-AM. He was worked for the Mutual Broadcasting System where he broke the news to America regarding the bombing
at Pearl Harbor. Mr. Newhouse served as WMMM's sales manager, creative director and prior to his retirement on March 31, 1978
he served as administrative vice president

Megan O'Connell - Newscaster - Mid 1980's
Megan went on to work in the promotions department at WICC / WEBE in Bridgeport.
Update: Megan lost her battle against cancer and passed away July 30, 2016.

Donna Savarese - Newscaster
After working at WMMM, Donna went on to work in television news including WFSB-TV in Hartford,
WWLP-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts, WJXX-TV in Jacksonville, Florida, KHWB-TV in Houston and
KMOV-TV in St. Louis. She left the industry in 2007 to pursue a career in marketing.
Edwin H. Schweitzer - Commercial Sales Manager - 1967-1971
Mr. Schweitzer, a resident of Florida since 1978, passed away on February 12, 1996 at the age of 85.

Lynn also worked on WNNR-AM, "Winner Radio 1220" in Hamden.

Ray Simms - Station Relations Director - 1963
Terry Smith - Air Personality, Program Director - 1974-1977
Terry was the host of the smooth jazz program called "Just A Little Lovin' and Other Bits of Nonsense" which aired evenings on
WDJF. For a time after leaving the area, Terry produced his show on tape for delayed broadcast. Terry also co-hosted the 1976
program "1260 Racquet Club" along with Linda Lynwander.

Ray went on to work at WRFC in Athens, Georgia, WPOP in Hartford, WHCT-TV in Hartford, WHAV in Farmington and WINF in Manchester.

Will went on to anchor news in New York and Los Angeles. He passed away on April 1, 2008

Jim Sweeters - Announcer "Jim Scott" - 1968-1969
Jim came to WMMM from WBZA-AM in Glens Falls, New York. Jim was heard on the 6pm - Midnight air shift. In his desire to pursue
becoming a "rock jock," engineer Mike Fast gave Jim a job lead that would land him a gig at WWCO in Waterbury. Jim had left
the broadcasting industry to pursue other avenues of employment and can now be found enjoying retirement.
Chris Switzer - AM Air Personality "Chuck Styles" - 1987-1989
Chris went on to WGMX "Great Mix", which changed to "The Fox" in Norwalk, CBC Media, New York's "Hot 97", WMJV "Majic 105" in
Patterson, WVIP in Mt. Kisco, New York, Bob 100 FM in Minneapolis. He currently is working in television graphic field and is
the creator of Motormouth Radio, a venture he started in 2002.

Conrad Trautmann - Chief Engineer - 1987
Conrad served as the engineering consultant when the Grahams purchased WMMM and was also chief engineer of
WEBE 108 after Donald Flamm sold it in 1984. Trautmann currently serves as SVP Technology and Operations for Cumulus Media.
Fred Trumpler - Newscaster - 1988
Bob Vanderheyden - AM Air Personality, Vice President and General Manager - 1988-1991
Bob had been at many station positions including program director for WCBS-FM in New York, Vice President
and Program Director for WHTT in Boston. He is currently Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of
Bold Gold Media Group located in Scranton, PA.

Before coming to WMMM, Art had served as an engineer for CBS Radio in New York during the 1960's.
Rich Walcoff - Sports Director - 1974-1979
Rich hosted a Saturday morning show, "Soundoff on Sport" in addition to providing play-by-play coverage for many high school
football games in Fairfield County. He is currently Sport Director for KGO Radio AM 810 in San Franciso, CA.
Beth Wardson - Receptionist - 1988
Al Warren - AM Air Personality - 1989
Al came to the station shortly after he sale of WICC-AM in Bridgeport in 1989 where he had been for many years. Al
had been on the midday shift. Currently Al can once again be heard on WICC on weekend mornings.
Michael Weinfeld - News Director - 1980-1981
After his stint at WMMM/WDJF Michael joined AP in October of 1981 and moved to Washington in 1983 when their Wire
and Radio Networks merged. He has been the entertainment editor for AP since 1987.
William Wood - Marine Reporter
Prior to working at WMMM, Captain William Wood had worked in news and special event reporting for ABC and NBC. His
marine reports were broadcast from "Coastwise Radio 1."
Lucille Wyett - Commercial Sales Manager - 1977-1984
Elizabeth Yates - Air Personality
A graduate of the Connecticut School or Broadcasting, Yates went on the work for WEZN-FM, "Star 99.9" in
Bridgeport and later for WEBE 108 in Westport, hosting her "Love Notes at Night" program.
Doris Yevich - Receptionist
Doris later moved on to work at the Connecticut Radio Network.
Gary Zenobia - News Director, Operations Director, Station Manager, VP Station Manager - 1976-1986
Before coming to WMMM, Gary was News Director for WINE AM/FM in Brookfield, CT. Gary left WMMM to become the
Vice President of Operations for the Connecticut Radio Network in Hamden.
Bill Zev - Host, "The Jazz Review" - 1960
Bill's show aired daily from 7:05pm to 7:35pm covered everything from Dixieland to the more progressive sound of Jazz, with a focus
on the history and development of the genre. Using his personal music collection, each program in the series focused on a specific
theme. Zev was a former production manager of the Theater Guild and had directed a variety of summer stock, television and off-Broadway
shows.
