I started as a summer intern in the WMMM news department in the late 70s, under Gary Zenobia, and later became an announcer on DJF for about the last two weeks of Rod Ross's tenure. I "announced" afternoons during the robot era, leaving to join WRNW in Westchester, and then returning to do fill-ins when DJF attempted a semi-live format. This was in the early 80s sometime. The site is great - thanks for putting it together. I'm still applying a lot of what I learned in radio to my online publishing ventures. The two media have much in common. - Tim

I enjoyed the web page on WMMM. I served
as News Director from 1981-86 and had a
great time with JLB, Mike Lapitino and
Dick Bunerba (sp?). I left in 86 to go
over to WEZN where I served as News
Director until 92 then to Hartford, Stamford and
now in Dallas where I do the Morning News on KLIF. ANYWAY, enough of me, I
enjoyed seeing the pictures, even though
many were after my time. And those bagels from Oscars (true we didn't pay
for them JLB would "borrow" them on his
way up the stairs) they were good..don't
have anything like that in Texas! Thanks again, BS
